Dear Caroline,
After a week with the Grant Grandparents, we celebrated having you back with a trip to Strawberry Hill!
While we were there, we decided to do some light walking.
After our stroll through the woods, you and your daddy played some wiffle ball and Frisbee out on the front lawn. You looked so pretty, I took out the good camera to snap a few pictures.
On Sunday, we hopped in the car bright and early to make Tia Mia's Birthday Brunch.
We had great fun on Monday during your playdate with Caroline and Clara, and on Tuesday, we headed to the airport bright and early for our trip to Washington D.C.
Grandma met us at the metro stop, and we headed for yogurt in Chinatown.
Grandpa was home when we got back, and he was nice enough to save you from your swimming lessons.
After dinner, we headed downstairs for a concert and a walk along the mall.
On Wednesday, we took a river cruise to Mt. Vernon and stopped by the National Portrait gallery and did a quick run-through of the National Gallery of Art while we waited for Grandpa to get home from work.
Thursday was spent at the Air and Space Museum, American History Museum, Natural History Museum, and Sculpture Garden.
You even got to touch a pice of the Moon!
On Friday, we visited the memorials along the tidal basin, watched the parade, and toured the Smithsonian castle.
We got back with plenty of time to relax on Grandma and Grandpa's terrace before the fireworks display began.
What a fun week!
