Happy Holidays!!

Caroline,

You had an incredibly eventful winter break! We spent Monday having brunch with Tia Mia on the Marietta square and then headed south to Griffin for three nights. Some of your more notable presents were a Fisher Price Pull-a-Tune Xylophone, and Starship Enterprise Plush, a Radio Flyer Walker Wagon (of which we received three before one was shipped damage-free), a plush nativity from Great Grandma A., two Baby's First Ornaments, and money in your 529 college fund.

We left for Savannah on the 26th and spent two nights at the Westin across from River Street and had a blast. We went to Skidaway Island and walked through all the squares on our way to Forsyth Park and back. We visited the nativity at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and browsed through countless shops. You enjoyed omelets at Huey's and dinner at Pearl's Saltwater Grille. You truly enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s'mores in the chiminea at the resort, but you did not find the water at the pool warm enough for your midnight swim.

We made it to Miami in time for Alexander's great-aunt's 50th anniversary party on the 28th. You charmed everyone as Daddy and I danced the night away and enjoyed a lovely meal with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Roxana, and Uncle Alex. You liked Uncle Alex's pool much better and had so much fun helping Alexander make and decorate sugar cookies and a gingerbread house, and complete art projects and conduct experiments from his Kiwi Kit (a monthly fun kit subscription you gave him for his birthday last year). You loved riding with Alexander in his Big Wheels and had lots of fun with his Dragon Wagon (baby walker wagon).

The last leg of our adventure was in Jacksonville. You indulged us as we gave you many Jacuzzi baths IN our hotel room, but you were surprised and saddened by my many attempts to photograph you on the beach in 30 degree weather. (It had been in the 70s in Miami the day before). You took your first trip to Chambiln Book Mine, broke many hearts on the Budweiser Tour, and had lots of fun with your great-great-aunt Claire.

We love you so!!!

xxxxooo,

Mommy

After Caroline's 9 month "Photo Shoot", we headed off to watch Grandpa Bob perform at Chick-fil-a's open house. Caroline got to sit on Santa's lap and pet all kinds of animals at the live nativity.

Aunt JoAnna, Maddison, Gavin, and Callen came for an early Christmas visit.

Caroline helped me put the finishing touches on our gingerbread house.
