Atlanta in August (and September too!)

Caroline,

At six months old, you are nearly 14 pounds! You are in the 5th% in height and weight. You can sit up, take apart puzzles, and turn pages. You are incredibly interested in food and drinks and are always grabbing for them. You have tried apples, bananas, rice cereal, peaches, sweet potatoes, and avocados. You coo and babble constantly, nibble on your hands and feet, and you are so happy that school is back in full-day session. You were so sad when we were out for vacation that we had to go down and visit Grandma Marlowe's class. We went to visit Pa and Grandpa Bryan in Tennessee last week, and we are going up again tomorrow to spend the weekend with Grandpa Bryan and Grandma Marlowe.

We celebrated my 28th birthday in mid-August.
Chicks at Marlowe!
Caroline goes to a lot of ball games with her daddy.
After several weeks of physical therapy, Caroline went for her first full-head scan for the fitting of a cranial-remodeling helmet. She was not amused.
Playing with Grandpa Bryan at the Albany house.
I crawled from my rug!
During one of our last visits to the cabin for the year, we had our family photo taken for our Christmas cards. (It's a good thing I did this three months early, because it took me every bit of that time to get them sent out.)
We took some candids of unsuspecting grandparents too. :)
