Dearest Caroline,
Your birthday was a great success. You LOVE your tap/ballet gear and "pretty pretty happy birthday panties". (Two potty training holdouts you have finally earned.) The next time I handed you a pair of plain white training pants, you cried, "No! No, Mommy! I wear pretty pretty happy birthday panties". The tap shoes started a bit of a shoe fetish. At any given time, you can be found walking around the house in whatever shoes lay nearby - regardless of size. You are vey into birthday parties and got to go to two birthdays of friends this month. You now call all cakes "happy birthday cakes". You got a little red wagon and a Cozy Coup, started working with the movable alphabet (you call it "c-a-t" and spell words multiple time a day), and blending short vowel words. You can count to 10, and you love to sing! You call the CD we have in the car "Itsy Bitsy" and ask for it constantly. At first, you tried to request songs, but now, you are happy to just sing along with the songs you know. You also got to go to the dentist for the very first time. You were highly praised for you good oral hygiene. (Apparently, recreational tooth brushing and covert flossing attempts pay off.)
